A few clear answers for your connections, your library and what comes next.
Nolumi is preparing for its App Store launch. The answers below describe the release we’re building for Mac, iPhone and iPad.
Does Nolumi include channels or films?
Nolumi is a player for the media sources you connect. It does not sell IPTV subscriptions or provide a commercial catalogue of channels, movies or series. Use a source you’re entitled to access.
How do I connect my source?
Choose Add source, then Xtream Codes or M3U. Enter the details supplied by your provider, or select your playlist file. For a media server, choose the matching server option. Your provider manages your subscription and connection details.
How can I find my favourite channels faster?
Favourite the categories you use most in Live TV, Movies or Series. They’ll appear in your category shortcuts. You can also favourite individual channels and titles.
Why is the TV guide missing listings?
The guide comes from your provider or the XMLTV source you connect. Refresh your library and check that your source supplies listings for the channel. Some channels may have no listings, or only a short schedule.
What can I try if playback buffers?
Check your internet connection, source subscription and provider’s connection limit. Try another channel to see whether the problem affects one stream or the whole source. Each channel playing in Multiview uses a separate connection.
What will Free and Pro include?
Free supports one active source and core viewing features, including the guide, search, favourites and watch progress. Pro adds multiple active sources and up to four live streams in Multiview. A media subscription is not included.
Will Pro work on all my devices?
The planned App Store release uses one Pro purchase across Mac, iPhone and iPad with the same Apple Account. Restore Purchases will be available in Settings. Purchasing Pro does not automatically sync your library between devices.
How do I move my library?
Use Encrypted backups in Settings, save the file with a strong password, then restore it on the other device. Restoring replaces the destination library. Backups can contain source credentials, so keep the file and password private.
Need a hand?
Include your device, operating system, Nolumi version and a short description of what happened. Please don’t send passwords, access tokens, backup passwords or playlist links containing credentials.
